Towing a SMART, or Towing with a SMART?
Forum: smart car Towing
Towing your smart somewhere? Click here for information on towing.
The above, from the FORUM site is a bit confusing.
Just beginning to use the SMART as a dinghy for a Class C (van front -- motorhome rear) based on the Mercedes/Dodge/Freightliner SPRINTER Cab & Chasis. 3 liter, 6 cyl. diesel, 5 speed automatic, weighs 11,000lbs, get 14 - 16mpg. So far, so good. (I promised myself to never have the fun of owning a Mercedes and then trying to escape their dealer service crucifictions. Then, in a round-about way, I end-up with 2!)
Anyway, big difference between being a tow-er and a tow-ee.
